HW not turning off when it should!

Hello,

I have a Potterton EP2000 controller and a Potterton NetaHeat Profile 50 boiler.

My HW doesn't turn itself off when programmed to do so. I have it set to come on at 06:00 and turn off at 07:30. HW will come on at 06:00 but doesn't turn off at 07:30, instead it continues to run (i.e. keeping water in the tank at 60 C) all day long.

If I press the override button it turns off and then comes on again at 06:00 (as it should) the following morning.

Has anyone seen this or something similar to this before?

What setting is it on? Once, Timed or continuous?

It's set to come on only once.

ON 1 : 06:00
OFF 1: 07:30

Thats not what I asked. What is the selector on, timed, once, or continuous.
Forget about the times you have set.

Sorry, I thought I had answered the question by saying 'Once'.

In fact the unit is set to 'Auto' and the HW is set to 'Once'.

If set to once, doesn't it use the first and last set time?

I.e. 1st and 4th?

If you use "once" it will come on at 1st am and go off at last pm.
