I'm now in the process of replacing kitchen and now want to fit a smiths ss5w hydronic plinth heater and I want to fit a room stat.
The problem I have got is I dont like the stat that smiths sells and I also dont like the price of it.
Would any thermostat rated at 230 volts do the job?
The ss5w only draws 3A for the fan and is 230v

Cheers for quick reply m8. Thought as much but just wanted to be sure, the fuse in the heater is 3A do you think a 3A rated room stat will cause me any problems (burnt contacts etc) or am I just fussing?
