i had 1 light out upstairs now i have 4 out

can anyone help i had a light not working upstairs so i put a new pendant light up now no lights on the circuit work.the original light had nothing obviously wrong new bulb and new switch.the room in question has 2 live 2 neutral and an earth wire the other rooms affected all have just single live and neutral wires.the circuit breaker isnt tripping out its just not working.any advice would be greatly appreciated

I'd head up into the loft and start checking nothings come lose when you tugged on the cables to get a bit more slack

just kill the power and get a good torch and some old clothes and get checking so start where the power comes up from the CU and work your way from box to box checking everythings in nice and tight and mr mouse hasn't eaten some cable
 
I'd say it's far more likely that the new pendant has been connected up incorrectly than a mouse coincidentally eating the cable immediately afterwards, but who am I to judge?
 
Firstly are you sure that this was the only light that was not working when your replaced the old fitting for new?
If it was, then I guess you have not terminated a cable correctly, you either have a neutral or a phase out of circuit.
