I need some plans for porch canopys

I need some examples of jointing detail on the trusses on a traditional truss for a porch canopy. The Beams will be supported by gallows brackets at the wall and columns at the front .The roof needs to be strong enough , but elegant and light. Anyone know where i may get hold of some decent pics/drawings.
