i need to paint the eves, which paint to use

hi i need to paint the eves but dont know which paint to use as the eves get alot of the scorching sun. i need something that will last a long time. what would you use

Mostly it is facia's that come in to direct contact with the sun and not eaves ! Anyway you are best to use Dulux Trade Exterior Weathershield Primer (if needed), Undercoat & Gloss (Oil Based).
 
hi thanks for the speedy reply but i dont have any facias. the gutters are fixed onto the eves themselves
 
Assuming your Eaves are wood then paint them with recomended paint then. No need to worry about the sun as the sun must make direct contact to the finish paint. When the sun makes direct contact with Exterior Gloss etc what it does is burns the protective layer of the paint, resulting in an flat (non-shiny) surface.

ok thanks just a quick question where can i buy this paint. would i be able to get it from b&q
 
Rafter feet :?: ..mine are all woodstained :confused: In fact the whole estate and half the towns estates (same builder) have exposed feet/eaves dark woodstained ....suits me I don`t paint them @ all
