I want a trawler/spider thing

I often want to download all or several of the documents, say, which are links on a page. It can take a ages to do each one, save, go back, and repeat.

WHat would it be called?
Is there a free download to do that?

I use "Download Accelerator plus" (free)

If you right-click on a link, it offers lots of options, including

"Download with DAP"
and
"Download all with DAP" (which dowloads the fies from all the links on the page you have open)

it offers you the option to change or specify the directory where you want the file(s) to be downloaded to (defaults to same as last time)

You can define the file name to be saved as, if you are only downloading one file. if downloading many you can put them all in a directory and rename them later 9if you want) or delete some that you don't like.

It usually downloads large files faster than the ordinary MS download

Some sites have blocked download accelerators.

Thanks John, that's just what I needed. First fumbling use of it saved me 20 minutes.

I use a application called flash get it works much the same as DAP but its not free but does work well i had problems with some using rapidshare and FG worked so i bought it.
