I want Google back!

It seems that my default search engine has changed to Crawler for some reason and I am not impressed!

How do I get shut of this and get my Google back

Do you use Spyware Terminator?
The Crawler search engine comes with that software and is ticked to install so if you update Spyware Terminator always ensure that the option to install Crawler is UNTICKED.

Use the Add/Remove section in Windows Control Panel to shift it.

In the meantime stick a short cut on your desktop.

If you are using Firefox, go to www.google.co.uk, by typing the address in your URL box and pressing enter.

Once it has loaded, go to Tools/Options/Main and select "use current page" to make it the default.

Click ok and exit the options page. When you restart Firefox, Goolgle should be the default start page.

Very similar for iExplorer from Microsoft. You should be able to work it out.

If it doesn't and keeps on loading the other homepage, then you may have to dig deep in the registry and change a few keys in there. That is a major task that somebody else should guide you with as I may get it wrong and turn your windows install into a mess.
