Lost the GOOGLE LOGO in search start up

Desperate for help re above. Was sitting with Granddaughter aged 3 who while I was answering a phone called struck the key board and I now have a very annoying problem.

I have Windows XP and use Google - Mozilla Firefox as the search engine.
When I now open up the search engine the actual logo of Google has disappeared and only the UK after the logo and the actual search box and the button boxes for Google Search and I'm Feeling Lucky are active. In addition other links at the bottom of the page such as: Advertising Programmes - Business Solutions - About Google - Go to Google all remain.

The actual process of searching the internet is not affected. However at the rate that I am trying to resolve it I think my Granddaughter will be 16 years of age. Any help will be very greatly appreciated.

Thanking you for responding so quickly. I do restore 2 days before the event.
However, this did not sort problem. This morning I spent some more time and went into Tools - Page Info - then into Media tab and down at button is a tick box saying "Block Images from www.google.com.

Undid the tick and the logo has returned.

Granddaughter now back in favor.
