Help with Windows XP

Can any one please help me with a problem. I have a Dell E521 about 4 months old. About 2 days ago I started to have difficulties if I attempted to open a form when on the internet.

What happens is the same forms keeps loading up onto the Desk Top but when I attempt to cancel, it very briefly stops then again starts to reload continually.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my search engine. By now you will have observed that I struggle with computers.

My immediate thought would be some kind of spyware, alot of these use mulitple 'load' codes to bring up multiple instances of the same page.

WHat have you got in regard to virus and spyware checkers?

Thank you jharrison for responding. The problem has been located(son)
deleted adobe from computer and I did not spot straight away.
