I want to build a wooden car for my 6 year old

I want to give it 4 wheels and a steering wheel

It would be absolutely great if it was real and you could push it and make go forward!
Else, it's OK if was just pretend and stationary

Does anyone know anywhere where they have 'kit plans'?
I'd rather start with something like this than start from scratch!

Thanks

not quite
i wanted to build something that resembled a car!
we got to a supermarket or somewhere where they'll have those 50p a ride machines, where there car goes up and down for 90 seconds - he'll happily spend half an hour there without needing to put any money in!

You could steal one of those rides, remove the car and put wheels on it ;)

to be honest, i thought of that :)
not stealing though - just getting one of them
don't know where to buy from + probably will be too expensive + too heavy to transport

that's awesome
thank u!

i really thought it was a dumb question to ask, but i asked anyway :)
that gives me a good start

yeah!!
that'd be awesome!
i wasnt expecting to make something that looked like a real car
i was just planning to put together a few bits of wood - but it still had to be convincing!

You can get them on eBay - under coin operated machines

juts had a look 'coin operated ride'
thanks :)
i don't think i'll go for one of these
i'm going to give it a go trying to build something

By word of warning I am sending you this because you need to know what you are letting yourself in for.
I would like you to know that Dads can get carried away with Kiddy projects.

Might be better concentrating on fitting brakes, lack of brakes means breaks to arms and legs.
( notice subtle difference)
