Hi In have the above system in my house and have developed a problem that is a mystery to me and the plumbers that have been. I have no idea when it comes to plumbing so please bare with me in my explanations. My next door neighbour has exactly the same problem with his. The problem is as follows. The heating / water comes on in accordance with the timer. The symbol on the boiler changes to c as it should and the blue light is solid as it should be. For some reason when the heating/water time is up the red light goes off on the timer but the c remains and the blue light is flashing constantly. The pump upstairs is still on yet the radiators and boiler have gone off. Why is the pump still on and the blue light flashing and c still showing. This sequence of events doesn't always happen. More often than not the system behaves as it should.. Any clues will be gratefully appreciated. I will try and answer any further questions people may ask but i am no expert.
thanks.

Has anyone any other ideas why i have this problem???
Mick

It sounds like an external zone valve fault.

Your boiler doesn't have pump over run, but can still appear on the control panel as if it does for some unknown Ideal quirk :?
