I had my Icos boiler fitted a good few years ago and not had a problem until now. We have no heating (not a problems yet) and no hot water. The light which usually shows the letter C or number 1 has gone out. If I switch the water or heating on at the small unit underneath it sounds as if the boiler is working but does not produce the goods :(

Can anyone help. I am happy to try and resolve this myself as money is an object I just need good instructions

You cannot fix the boiler yourself you need a gas engineer to look at the boiler.

Ring someone local up and since this is an Ideal boiler which are awful for reliability take out an insurance plan with British gas or Npower or whoever.
