Hi,
Im having problems with my central heating. Its on a Ideal isar HE30 boiler using a wireless stat system(drayton). I've got hot water but no central heating and its not showing any fault on boiler display. I've changed the batteries in the stat and done the good old turn it off for 10 mins trick and it still isn't working. As far i can see, the stat is talking the receiver because the receiver flashes when i turn the stat up. Its almost 2years old. Any help would be appreciated before it gets too cold on a night. Thanks

does it have an over ride button on the receiver? think it is the top button, should light up green when override is active, see if it fires then

Is the reciever the type with a red and a green light, and two buttons?

If so, and the green light is illuminated then you should have heat. If not then looks like the reciever is faulty.

Yeah it is that type of receiver. When the stat is calling for heat the little red LED flashes then the green one comes on and no heat. So are we saying its possibly the receiver then?

You could link the stat out in the boiler with a little peice of wire and see if it works on heating without external controls.

Turn leccy of before you do it tho. ;) .
