Hi Peeps

Need some advice i have the above boiler and it has suddenly decided to stop working,Looked at the manual no fault code is showing.

It attempts to fire fire up then stops and so on and then the circuit board starts clicking again and again and just keeps doing that till you turn it off, The display only shows a minus sign and a little dot on the right handside? (-.) and hasn't changed since it started playing up.

Please help guys.

i think that the pcb some one may correct me
but it usually pcb as they very unreliable

try ideal for a fixed price repair,if they still do it.

Pcb but also check your earth. Faulty earth can give a clicking from board. Dot dash in display though is usually main pcb.

I suggest chuck the boiler.

Ideal boilers are awfully unreliable, look at £200 for a pcb every few years.
Idea admit they have had problems with the pcbs and the manufacture
of them. So why they haven't made them much cheaper knowing there
is a problem with them is very bad for their poor customers
who have to put up with the boilers.

Hi Guys

any other thoughts from anyone?

Thanks
