I woke this morning to a cold shower. When I checked boiler I found water leaking out of it. I turned it off, removed the cover and PCB to see the leak coming from between the diverter valve and the exchanger. I tightened an allen bolt at the bottom which reduced the leak a little, but that's all I can do. I'm guessing it's some sort of O-ring or seal gone. I just wondered if I would be able to get this seal and what kind of job is it to replace? I am not a plumber and don't fancy a gas leak or some such.

I am in a three bedroomed terraced house. Any rough idea of what I will/should pay for a replacement boiler installed? The PCB went about 18 months ago so not sure if it's economical to spend more money on it.

Thanks.

Sounds like you need to re-seal the plate heat exchanger, it's not a bad job tbh and all you need is a seal kit

Your heading indicates an LF fault. But you have not written about it?

You also need to see if its actually LF or its L.F

Because of the nature of that fault we will not be able to give you too much informaton about it.
