Hi there

I have the following message appear on my boiler for a couple of days now - there seems to be no hot water upstairs & for the shower but on some days it will work again, plus now the central heating is not working when I turn the thermostat

Anyone had this issue?

That will be the thingumyjig , are we supposed to guess which boiler you are talking about ?

Thanks for the reply.

The landlord says its over 2 years old but it was serviced Oct 2016.

Tell the Landlord to get it sorted , it is their problem not yours, good chance it will be under warranty anyway

Hi

I have done today - she is coming round to check it out this evening, not like she can fix it mind you, just thought I would 'arm' myself with some potential solutions to the problem thats all.

some of the Logics had 5 year warranty some 7 years but I think some only had 2 years if fitted under the ECO scheme not completely sure, change your Thread title and add Ideal Logic in the title and a member called @shambolic will come on and give you all the advice you need for that boiler

It means the boiler was on but has now turned off. So could be numerous things turning boiler off.
Would need an eng to look and see any fault codes and flow return temps etc

I think he has had his bottle and is in his cot , he will be raging in the morning that the young lady got all the correct advice without him gibbering absolute pish, about her boiler being too close to the post office or something
