Ideal Mini HE C28 temperature gauge not working

I have just noticed that temperature gauge on boiler is not working. The pressure gauge is.

Will this have any effect on the boiler working and is it safe to still use.

Any help gratefully received, i am limiting using it.

Many boilers do not have a Thermometer, I wouldn't worry about it, the pressure gauge is important however and should be maintained in good order

many thanks for that boiler is serviced annually by Ideal and last done two months ago. will keep my eye on pressure gauge
