ideal standard e0067aa poor hot flow

We have just installed an Ideal Standard single lever basin mixer tap (E0067AA)-all is well apart from a pitifully slow hot water flow (cold is fine).Our plumber maintains that it's because the tap is only suitable for a high pressure system ours is low ,according to the literature it should be ok for both high and low. Any suggestions as to why the hot flow is so poor?

I think he is right.

Most taps sold are made in Italy or China where high mains pressure is used.

You probably have a particularly low pressure applied to the taps.
