Has anyone had much experience repairing or had faults with this ideal standard dual flush valve. Thanks

It struggles to flush sometimes even though the rods of the flush button at the correct length. Sometimes having to double press it

I wanted to start a new post but can't find a way to.
Ideal Standard toilet refill valve keep filling.
It all started the refill valve was dripping, wife annoyed, so search the web and fitted a new diaphragm. Putting back, it was not only dripping it kept running on without stopping. The old diaphragm seemed fine after cleaning. Also tried putting back with out success. So have to turn off a main valve. Would appreciate any one can help. Thanks.

It turned out that there is a crack in the old diaphragm rubber. The new diaphragm is 3mm shorter than the old one, hence not able to fully shut off the inlet opening. I could've had a new fluidmaster fill valve fitted which costs only £15. But the mounting of the this one is very tricky to reach. I'll see if I can get the right diaphragm. If not than have to do the hard job.
Should of fitted a new fluidmaster flush valve 2 years ago.
