Hello, I’m hoping that someone can help. Previous owners removed the smoke alarms and I’m going to replace with Aico alarms. I’m a bit confused about the wiring and why it looks like the blue and black wires were together in the first alarm, I would have put the blue and grey together as neutral? Would this mean black is neutral and grey is ic?

Twin and earth to first smoke ….brown L blue N …..then 3 core and earth ( grey interlink ) brown L ….Black N
They could have sleeved the black with some blue sleeving…pretty straight forward …
