Idle on fiesta

I Have a 1997 Fiesta 1.4 Zetec S with a Idle problem.
What happens is when you depress the clutch or are just stationary
the car falls below 900rpm and sometimes stalls.
I,ve cleaned the idle valve with carb cleaner and even went to breakers yard to get another one but same thing happens.
Has anyone out there any idea what it could be?

Check for any air leaks on the intake system, possible a broken or fallen off vaccuum pipe.
Also check the brake servo pipe and where it fits to the servo unit.
Giving the throttle body a clean with some carb cleaner may also help the problem.
When was the air filter last changed?
