Ignition barrel fallen 5hrough on 2010 mercedes e class, how to get it out ?

Hi, the ignition barrell has fallen through the hole on my 2010 mercedes e class
2010 3.0 v6. What's the best way to get it out and to put it back in place ?

There isn't a best way.

It's a case of having to remove enough trim and bits to be able to get it back and secured into place

Depends how capable you are. Likely to be awkward to find all the clips for the trim so lots of gentle pulling and pricing until you find out how and where things come apart.
As for securing the barrel depends if anything is broken or not

There should be a chrome (or rather plastic chrome) bit that screws on and holds the barrel against the shroud? It might have bounced under seat or somewhere?
