ignition button on boiler stuck in!

Hi im hoping someone can help, my pilot light went out this evening and I went to reignite it and the button stuck in!
it was sticking last time I had to do it and i could pull it back out quite easily but now it wont budge
I dont fancy calling someone out for such a simple task but i also dont fancy no hot water
does anyone know a way to may the button pop back out?
