Immersion heater replacement

Have advised customer on possible damage. He has asked for quote for replacing the whole cylinder instead

Unfortunately I caught covid and couldn’t do the job. Customer did change the cylinder but because I was not well he got someone else in

But I deffo will tackle the immersion next time

Do you have any idea of what he paid to have it changed?

Copper cylinders are quite expensive now. Maybe close to £300 for a 36" x 18" indirect. Or more.

Have you checked the Thermostat this could have burnt out , replacenent is easy just remove cover of Immersion Heater and replace .

And when replaced it needs to be the kind with an over temperature cut out.
