Installing a new unvented system serving a 5 bathroom house, incomming main was 1/2" lead at 5 bar,
Water board have now installed the new 32mm main we requested but we now have only 2 bar pressure.
I know they only have to give 1bar so should we have specified a higher pressure.
The old main is still connected and still giving 5bar

If they've connected it to the same water main in the road it should still be 5 bar. Working pressure or standing pressure?

2 bar is ample, but 75l/min is a bit on the low side for 5 bathrooms

Its still 15 li/min per bathroom and some diversity could be assumed.

However, this is presumably to open pipe so the dynamic flow rate, which is the only one that matters, will be lower.

Sometimes these multibathroom houses only have two or three people living there!

I would love to know why the two mains supplies are at differing pressures!
