If the trap has a 35mm pipe (they are typically a euro pipe size) then get one of these.
Your pipe coming out the wall would normally then be cut in line with the tile and then glue this on but looks like you have an elbow right there?
The chrome pipe from the trap would then fit directly into the compression end and then the chrome cover plate to hide the hole and the white. Not sure with that elbow though, does the grey pipe push back any?
