Can anyone help I have a Indesit IWC6125S washing machine, and it has developed a fault which seems to come and go, but is happening more now.
The fault happens during the wash at any time, the machine stops and all the lights across the top flash, the only way to clear this is to switch the power off. When turned back on the machine seems fine no flashing lights, press start can hear the door lock, but after 10 seconds the red door light starts flashing although the door is locked and will not open.
Any ideas what is causing this?
Thanks
Paul.

I think you should start by doing a bit of routine maintenance, clean filter and drum/drain pump sump. Check the motor brushes.
If that does not solve your issue check that the fault occurs on a no heat programme, rinse, spin only etc... then get back to us.

Thanks for your advice Yardie, all sorted now i have removed the hair grip from the pump.
Once again Thanks for your info.
