my machine starts and fills now after a sorting out an overflow condition.
however after 15 minutes or so leds 1 & 2 start flashing indicating a pump timeout problem as per rocks1's helpful listing Jan 2010. Emptying machine and resetting just repeats the process. I note the main pump has a capacitor on it and the blue wire is conected to the motor and the N.O. float switch.
I'm tempted to disconnect these wires and put a current onto the pump to see if it is working. Any alternatives sugestions first ??

The pump with White cap is a circulation pump it pumps water round the drain pump is next to it waste hose attacted to it .if is sprays water round but don't empty I would look at drain pump and waste spigot on sink if you had a water flow prob before

Thanks for prompt response Rocks1. The drain pump was a bit sludged up and was cleared and does work when I put a 240 volt circuit onto it.
The circulation pump does not run however, when I've put power to it to try it, using the blue and red wire at the capacitor there is also a black wire
to the motor and a yellow wire loop. Without a wiring diagram I would need to take the pump assembly out to check what the wiring is and therefore the pump motor. I was hoping to avoid this as I would have expected 1 &3 leds to flash if it was the circulation pump and not 1&2. I also now the heater element is working. Any other suggestions??

I take it that it don't spray round ,the circulation pump takes a netual supply to the drain pump .at the back of the circ pump is a spring coil then in between that is a small slot does that turn when you insert a flat screwdiver into it . The white cap is gone or circ pump .

Correct, the machine does not spray around. The armature turns ok with a screwdriver in the slot. I think the pump motor is gone. If it was the capacitor it would still make a humming sound and would go by giving it a start with a screwdriver in the slot. Damned expensive part at £80 + carriage. It might be repairable if I take it out. Thanks for your help Rocks1. It was worth asking.
Best regards
