Indesit IDL 42 Error Code ?

Hey

Can anybody interpret the error code of my dishwasher IDL 42 - from left the first and second light are blinking - the washing cycle doesnt even start or it stops after a few minutes.

1 and 2 indicate a communications error. In other words, a problem with the electronics.
Find the pcb (s) , unplug the plugs and plug them back on. If problem still persits you'll need an engineer to repair.

Sorry, forget that error code, I've given you the WIDL code which is the washing machine.

First two lights flashing indicate a drainage problem.

ok - thanks again. That makes sense. Do you mean inseade the cleaner (filter, ....) or outside (tube,...).

As it says, it's a drainage failure. That can mean a blockage anywhere that prevents it draining or even a faulty pump.

arghhh - i removed all dishes inside cleaner, cleaned the inside filter and the next day it did a full cleaning circle (without dishes). I put the dishes in again and it stopped after 20minutes - same error code. I think i will demount the machine and have try to find the drainage and the pump. Anyway - very strange ....

there was a long thick fibre inside the pump - i pulled it out (not easily) and now it works again - thanks for your help!!

nooo - since today i get a new error code - the 2nd and 4th light from left are blinking. The dishes seem to be clean.
