hi all, love this site! hope someone can help, got the above and the whole drum is wobbling around like a banshee! there is a small amount of play in drum which runs smooth and quiet. when wobbling there's a slight knocking, could it be shock absorbers? one shaft is dry the other has some oil on it. many thanks! AJ

Play in drum = drum support snapped new drum needed.

You seem to have a lot of machines that have broken. The drum support goes on the back of the inner drum when that snaps new drum req.

yes i do have a few to sort if poss! split with my mrs and bankrupt with little to me name i'm afraid, and friends throwing stuff at me to help out, so far all i've got is a headache! thanks for your other reply too rocks1, can i just change the support spider? or would the good drum from wmt01 fit also? to clarify i've got a hotpoint wmt01 spins once then ends prog, brushes fine did same with wma20 motor, a wma20 with obvious bearings wear and a indesit wixl143 we've been chattin about in this thread. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! cheers AJ

U cant replace the support on these it's inside the outer drum. Which dies not come apart it's a sealed unit. The other 2 you have yes the drums will fit in the wa9 / wmto1 but if you got a rapid spin and you have swapped motors over then that's a Pcb fault both pcbs are not interchangeable
