Indian / UK trade deal

It's also a deal that we have with several other countries apparently.

And British workers in India won’t pay India tax

It’s a Double Contribution Convention which already applies to quite a few countries.

Indian workers still pay tax in India for their work in UK
Did you notice how two tier backed down on the triple digit tarrifs imposed on certain Indian exports to the UK?

I have always liked Indian people, nice kind hardworking lot - so its all very welcome from me.
not sure about their neighbours though !
Me too. Judging by the handful I know, they are like a duck to water in this country they integrate so well.
Thoroughly decent folk from my experience.

At the rate French Rafales are being shot down I can see the Indians ordering some F35's fairly pronto.

They weren't shot down, they just stop working after so many hours of use.
Like their cars do.

experts say the UK got the best deal in terms of tariff rates in relation to value

A deal that gives UK the better trade benefit is not backing down

Im sorry you arent terribly well informed

What's a white van? Ours are red :ROFLMAO: Personally had more issues in my life with white collar cowboys. There's a lot of them about... So what did you do for a living, then?

BTW, ever been to Bradford? There used to be a contractor there called Singh - on the back of their tippers the had the following, "Singh - you've tried the cowboys, now try the Indians"
