Hi, I am buying a house with the kitchen opened out into an open plan conservatory. No walls or doors seperating the rooms. Seller has stated they have all the correct permission and building regs for this.

I plan to put a new kitchen in which i will have an island with an induction hob on it. Is it possible to have that there below a polycarb roof? I will have an extractor hood above if that makes a difference? Would it need to be vented or could i get a filter vent?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I certainly would not recommend a recirculating hood they are a waste of time & space. Be advised by your kitchen supplier & get several different quotes.
