INFINITI Alarm System re-registering wireless siren

Following the need to re-initialise the system after the inability to get rid of a 'system trouble' error message I have been able to register all the sensors and key-fobs OK however, I am unable to register the Wireless Siren INF-WES as it is installed on the wall outside.

The problem I face is that if I try to remove the cover to set up the jumpers for registration, the Siren will sound even if I have removed the mains power the back up battery will provide the power.

How do I stop the siren from operating bearing in mind that the system 'knows nothing about it' ?

The siren is only doing what it is designed to do if it is being tampered with.

As far as IT knows, YOU are tampering with it
