Hi

I live in a house where the garden is at first floor level at the back because we are on a hill, and the ground floor is a full basement at the back and normal rooms onto the front garden at the front.

I have put our pool on the back patio but should I worry about the weight on:

a) the patio
b) the basement rear wall or the rear of the house

Photo attached. The basement is under the windows.

Note that I don't fill it more than 30cm or even less.

With all that earth/backfill up and against the backwall of your basement rooms, a weight of a paddling pool is not going to add much to the load. If you ARE worried, a gallon of water weighs 10lbs and I cubic foot of water = 6.25 gallons. Class your PP as a cylinder using depth of water as the height and then calculate the volume. Volume= H x Pi (3.142) x radius squared.

Aye, imagine if you had a big party with say 20 odd people milling about or something, paddling pool will be fine.
