Hi Again,

Firstly thank you for all the advice you gave me regarding my faulty shower. If I could I would like to ask one more question.

My shower is fitted in such away that I will be unable to remove and clean the internal gauze filters, so my question is twofold.

1) Will the filters in the Showermate pump I have had fitted do the job?

2) If not should I think about fitting ½” inline strainers to the hot & cold feeds, and if the answer is yes should they be fitted before the water enters the pump or between the pump & shower?

Time will tell. ;)

If I were fitting them I'd put them after the pump, to avoid any risk that the pump could be starved of water and damaged in the process.
