Insinkerator 3n1 tap leaking can it be repaired

They just said an internal fault . Leaking from where the base joins the swivel pipe

ohhh.... I have a similar boiling water insinkerator tap (mine has the glowing button for filtered water).

A 7 or 8 year life span doesn't sound very encouraging...

BTW, do you find the boiling water a tad cooler than it should be? I work in quite a few houses, the Quooker water seems to be hotter. I prefer the push down lever configuration of the insinkerator over the double push collar set up on the Quooker.

I know this is an old thread but there is a cheap fix. You can get a washer set that fixes it. I replaced the boiler as that was leaking - a few hundred ££ from memory, & I objected to replacing the tap not long after. The repair kit worked perfect!
