Inspection by water company

Just to close this out - the chap turned up and was expecting a commercial property. Showed him around and gave him a cup of tea and had a chat. Nice chap - helped locate the line of the incoming water main down the drive into the property - but as far as any concerns or checks it all equated to zero.

Bit late as only just seen the thread, but to add for the benefit of anyone reading, Septic Tanks/Treatment Plants need the sludge removing, probably annually, depending on use. It doesn't just magically disappear, and if left too long, causes solids to enter the soakaway, clogging that up, and can affect the operation and performance of the entire system.

Also, the Water Company's have the power to order anyone with wrongly connected drainage systems to correct the fault at the occupiers cost.
