install a new mira gem88 shower

Hi folks
my wife bless her has bought a mira gem 88 shower that we want to fit over the bath. This is gravity fed so I can't just connect the cold from the bath tap because its mains pressure right? (OK I read the instructions). But I guess I can take a hot feed from the bath hot tap supply? Can someone tell an amateur plumber wannabe where to get the cold feed from?
