i am a trainee plumber,

i was wondering if there was any experienced plumbers who could tell me an easier way to install a pedastal sink.

i have been putting the sink ontop on the pedastal then marking the holes for the screws up against the wall, is this the hard way of doing this, because it feels like it

cheers dom

Thats the way i've done it for 35 years so good luck and one day you might be as rich as me

Get it all set up in place and then carefully drill through the fixing holes. The holes in the wall will then be at the same angle as the one's through the basin. Doesn't apply to basins with great big slots in for the fixing kits.
