Hi All,

I have a 57 plate Astra and have bought a new radio. I have bought the relevant connector to change from the Astras connection (Q block I think it is called) to ISO.

The problem I am having is that their appears to be no ignition power feed. The radio works fine when both are supplied from the permanent supply but obviously I am bound to forget one day and flatten my battery :?

I had this problem when installing a radio in my girlfriends Punto. This was easily solved though by running a cable from the cigarette socket as this was on an ignition feed. Problem is, the Astra is a permanent feed.

Does anyone have any ideas?

you can pick up an ignition live supply at the lights switch just run a wire i think its a black wire just check with multimeter or test light
