Hi,
Hope someone can help.
Just in the process of trying to replace my manual drayton thermostat which is currently connected to my combi boiler and replace it with a digital wireless Sunvic one.
The manual thermostat works properly - set the temp and it turns the heating on/off when desired temperature is reached. However want to replace with wireless one as the current location for the thermostat is not ideal.
The wires going into the manual drayton thermostat are connected to the following terminals:
Neutral
Live
Call
There are only 3 wires in total.
For the receiver part of the wireless thermostat, I have uploaded a picture of the wiring diagram at the following link
Initially I have tried connecting the neutral to neutral, live to live, and the cable connected to "call" on the old thermostat to terminal 2 on the new one.
The receiver turns on powered by the wires from the boiler, can connect to the transmitter, but when tested to try and fire the boiler up there is no call on the boiler.
So put the old one back in for now - and that again works fine.
Hopefully someone can tell me if I am doing something really obviously wrong.
Thanks.
Steve
