need advice on how I should install a drain for my washing machine.
I want to relocate the washing machine into the back of my garage and there are no drain pipes anywhere close. It would also be useful to collect water from the down pipe of the garage.
my problems are that the present drainage stystem around my house are made of clay. I don`t have a man hole for the present system although my next door neiehbour found an inspection hole 3ft out from the back corner of his house buried in the driveway( houses are semidetached built in the early fifties)
this inspection hole is in front of my garage if i have one.
So do i layout a drain from the back of my garage to collect waste from washing machine bring it around the corner of the garage put in a rain water gatherer then run it parellel with the garage and attach it to the exsiting drain system. is this hard to do ?
how do i attach to a clay made drain
or do i find the phantom inspection hole change it to plastic some how and run the new drain in to it ?

Anybody have any ideas or opinions on how to go about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
