Installing floors for a beginner :-)

Hi all


For those of you who’ve done your own flooring — what type did you find easiest to install for the first time?


I get asked this a lot by new DIYers looking to refresh a room on a budget, and I’d love to hear more real-life experience.


Personally, I think click-lock vinyl or laminate are great starting points — but maybe you have other hacks or horror stories?


Always up for swapping tips or pointing people to good tools if you're planning a project!
