I am going to attempt to install 5 x 60 watt spotlights in a bedroom that currently has one single 100 watt light. I have been advised not to use transformers but rather feed them directly off the mains. I have access and ventilation above the room.

This is the link of the ones I am going to buy:
http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=101497&ts=44473&id=24566

Can anyone point me in the direction of some basic diagrams? I am a total beginner. I have checked through a lot of the other posts but cant seem to find the "easy guide to installing spotlights".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) What value is the fuse protecting this circuit?
2) How many lights are on this circuit except the 5 new ones?
3) Are you going to use a standard or a dimmer switch.
4) Will you use one switch for all or more than one?
5) What is the size of the cable supplying this circuit?
These are the issues you have to consider adding these lights, if you want a basic diagram you can find some in the first bit (sticky) of the posts page
