Hey everyone. I am waiting for a swing set to arrive. When it does, I want to treat the bottom of the wooden posts that will be partially buried to protect them.

I've heard a lot of people use Black Jack Bitumen paint. Is it necessary to use the Black Jack Bitumen Primer first?

I've applied similar directly to wood with no issues. Postsavers are also pretty good for this application.
