Does anyone know if it is permissible (or possible) to have Velux windows installed in a loft that is not being converted for use as a habitable room ?
We are using our loft as is (with loft-boards, lights etc) for arty/handicraft type projects that require good lighting and would like to consider installing Velux windows.
Anyone know if this is feasible / allowable ?

Normally you don't need approval for velux window providing it doesn't altered the roof size. The velux window must have a double rafters on both side of the window and a double noggins top & bottom. Check with BCO first over the phone.
