Hi, I paid a friend to insulate my loft and he has left it partially done and will not answer the phone or email so I'm going to have to finish it myself.
He fitted quintherme boards between the rafters leaving the required gap between the end of the insulation and the 'felt' and then overboarded with 30mm quintherme. My problem is that at the apex of the roof the boards obviously do not make a finished seal if you can imagine what I mean. And as heat rises it seems a complete waste!
Is the best way to just squirt expanding foam along the apex? And if so is there a particular type that is best to use? I'm really not much of a DIY guy so I thought I would ask before doing anything!
