My bathroom is very cold. I have added extra insulation above it and put draught strips around the loft hatch. I now want to put some insulation on the loft hatch cover which lowers down on hinges to allow the loft ladder down.

Can anyone reccomend the best stuff to use and best method of fixing it to the wooden loft hatch door, please?

By the way i forgot to mention that the loft hatch door is 875 x 660 mm and I havn't seen anything of the right dimensions in the DIY stores.

Hi Redherring.

Yes I realised after I posted it that it had been asked before. You will have to forgive me as I am new to this.
Problem is there is nothing of the right size on sale so I suppose I will have to cut it and put two pieces on.
If I use thermawrap, any idea on the right sort of adhesive to use?
