Hi,

I am having trouble thinking how to insulate these eaves. Eventually the loft is being converted, so I need air flowing. I have 100mm insulation at the moment, and the gap between the two bits of wood is also 100mm.

If I insulate right upto the wall no air is going to come in by the soffit, if I don't there will be a cold patch in the ceiling of below.

What is the best solution? :D

Basically to insulate the whole ceiling, it means getting insulate up into the eaves, which in turn will stop the airflow I presume?
