Currently building an extension, Building control want a minimum of 100mm glass wool between the joists.
I have under floor heating going in so I will use more than that to make sure the floor stays heated.
I have some left over celotex 100mm sheets, I was going to put batons along the under side of my joists to hold this. could I then put glass wool on top of this.
200mm joists with 100mm celotex and 100mm glass wool which would be compressed slightly in places for the underfloor heating spreader plates.
Would this work? would it cause problems with not enough air for mineral wool to breath?
Thanks
Darren
